FARM UPDATE 2026

Here we are in the spring season of 2026.

Our farm has transitioned form market garden to a subsistence garden for our family needs.

We are slowly setting up our new property. That looks like a beautiful new pond and a shelterbelt to hopefully slow down the constant wind tunnel!

Harrison is busy managing orchard operations at Van Meekeren farms and Brogan and Myri are digging into soil and having lots of naps and snacks.

We have a passion for delicious food and community-driven agriculture. We believe fresh, locally grown produce is the key to a healthy and sustainable future for Nova Scotians (and the world!)

We are in transition on the farm, as we grow our family and set up shop on a new piece of land.

Here we go! We took a wee lil' break, Harrison spent some time in the woods clearing some land for new ponds. I made a quick getaway to Clayton Ontario to visit with my parents. We both indulged in rest and relaxation and now we are back at it!
